Rexy

Long, long ago, when the mountains were still young, the very first dinosaur in the world was born. His name was Rexy.

Rexy’s family lived at Sataplia, near Kutaisi. From their great palaces they could see the whole country — the big sea and the endless open lands. Rexy’s family ruled the whole world.

That is why, centuries later, the Latin word for king became “rex” — in honour of the very first dinosaur.

Centuries passed. And today, near Sataplia, a little dinosaur with the very same name runs and plays: Rexy.

What Rexy loves most is looking for his ancestors’ footprints. You can still see real footprints of ancient dinosaurs at Sataplia today — and Rexy is always looking for new ones.

Whenever he finds a new footprint, a gift is waiting for him: a special toy his ancestors left just for him. Each one teaches Rexy something new and helps him grow.

And so little Rexy grows up: playing, running, finding new places and new footprints — and learning something new every day.
